As your child’s time at Haileybury comes to a close, it’s a moment of celebration, pride and reflection. Each year, we invite Upper Sixth families to mark this milestone by donating their child’s school deposit to The Opportunity Fund — a dedicated bursary fund that helps another young person benefit from the same transformative Haileybury experience your child has enjoyed.
How the Opportunity Fund Works
The Opportunity Fund is linked to the booking process for Speech Day and the Leavers’ Ball, offering a simple and meaningful way to support future pupils at a moment of celebration.
When booking your tickets, you’ll be asked how you would like us to handle your child’s deposit. You can choose to:
- Donate the full deposit to the Opportunity Fund
- Donate the balance after ticket costs — we’ll deduct your ticket fees and direct the remainder to the Fund
- Donate a specific amount — you choose how much to give, and we refund the rest
- Receive a full refund of your deposit
