We are immensely grateful to all the supporters in the Hailebury community who generously donated to The Master’s Library Appeal, enabling the transformation of our historic Library.
Established in honour of former Master, Martin Collier’s tenure at Haileybury, The Master’s Library Appeal aimed to raise funds for an improved Library facility, creating a modern space for teaching, learning and research, and a place of inspiration for generations of pupils to come.
“Change, improvement and development are essential for the health of institutions such as ours. And in making progress we best serve the interests of our pupils.”
Martin Collier – Former Master
After nearly four decades of minimal attention, the Grade II* listed building urgently required restoration to preserve its historical significance and upgrade it into a contemporary learning environment for our pupils.
Following the success of the appeal, raising £556,000, we are delighted to share that the restoration work to the Library is now complete and pupils and the wider community have been able to enjoy the newly refurbished space.
